Site visits:

As part of the Social Entrepreneurship course, students and faculty from JSS (Dharwad), GBS (Hubli) and IMSR (Hubli) visited Akshaya Patra (www.akshayapatra.org) and Agastya Foundation (www.agastya.org). Site visits are an important component of EA’s courses, as they give faculty students an opportunity to see local examples of the material covered in EA courses first hand. Below are some students and faculty members’ comments about their site visit experience.

"It was on March 18, 2010 that we had visited the Agastya Foundation in Hubli.Some of the experiment we saw were interesting, many experiment where based on the visual and mind connection, they were very simple experiments but explaining much more than what it appears. We where lucky enough to try some of those and have an hand on experience on it."
