About Us

What does EA do?
     EA partners with educational institutions to build an entrepreneurial infrastructure in academia. Partner institutions receive syllabi & faculty manuals for four entrepreneurial courses, intensive faculty training, guidance to build an entrepreneurial development cell at their college and consistent support from the EA team.

  • EA courses aid in developing students’ entrepreneurial mindset by building their capacity to:

    • Think innovatively 
    • Understand the basic concepts of entrepreneurship 
    • Utilize entrepreneurship to address today’s most pressing social challenges 
    • Develop a business plan 
    • Pitch an idea

    Through EA courses, students learn to take an idea and develop it into a venture.

Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell)
Each EA Partner creates an E-Cell, which is a group exclusively for students, who are especially passionate about developing their entrepreneurial skills. Through engaging activities, E-Cell members develop the entrepreneurial skills that will set them apart from others.

E-Cell members participate in activities, including:


Entrepreneurial Challenges: Students compete in inter-collegiate competitions to develop critical entrepreneurial skills through first hand experiences.
Activities on Creativity and Innovation: E-Cell members learn to stretch their minds to think creatively and approach problems with innovative solutions. Students may engage in discussions on cutting edge issues in the field of entrepreneurship, watch video clips on inspiring innovations & entrepreneurs and work on projects through which they learn to think outside the box to problem solve.
Site Visits: Students and faculty have the opportunity to visit organizations that are taking innovative approaches to generating employment and addressing critical social issues.
IT Trainings: E-Cell members and faculty have the unique opportunity to develop IT skills that will set them apart from others in their field.
Guest Speakers: EA faculty & E-Cell members have an exclusive opportunity to meet world renowned entrepreneurs, such as Gururaj “Desh” Deshpande, Kanwal Reikhi and many more.
