Yuva Summit on 2011

The Deshpande Foundation proudly announces Development Dialogue's Yuva Summit on 27 January 2011 with Keynote Speaker Rahul Bose. Bose is renowned for his work as an Indian actor, screenwriter, director, social activist, and rugby union player. His appearances in Hindi films, include Pyaar Ke Side Effects and Jhankaar Beats. Time magazine honored him as "the superstar of Indian arthouse cinema" for his work in parallel cinema films like English, August and Mr. and Mrs. Iyer. Bose is also a well know social activist and the founder of the anti-discrimination NGO, The Foundation.

The Summit will also feature special guest speakers:

Winner of the “Cracking the Code” competition 2010

Entrepreneurship Academy conducted the final presentation of the “Cracking the Code” competition on 20th December 2010 at DCSE, Hubi.

Conducted a against child labor

Entrepreneurship Academy E cell members and course participants conducted a against child labor in Hubli. During the Grassroots innovation course EA students visited Foundation in Hubli. Agastya works to generate for learning in shool children by providing first hand experience with low cost science model.
Participants stared rally from Deshpande Foundation at 10.45am. Rally passed through BVB's main gate, Kadsideshwar Arts college, Vidyanagar police station to Agastya Foundation.
Participants experimented with a wide variety of science models and enjoyed seeing an example of grassroots innovation in their local community.
