Rally against child labor

Entrepreneurship Academy E cell members and course participants conducted a against child labor in Hubli. During the Grassroots innovation course EA students visited Foundation in Hubli. Agastya works to generate for learning in shool children by providing first hand experience with low cost science model.

Participants stared rally from Deshpande Foundation at 10.45am. Rally passed through BVB's main gate, Kadsideshwar Arts college, Vidyanagar police station to Agastya Foundation.
Participants experimented with a wide variety of science models and enjoyed seeing an example of grassroots innovation in their local community.

Site visits:

As part of the Social Entrepreneurship course, students and faculty from JSS (Dharwad), GBS (Hubli) and IMSR (Hubli) visited Akshaya Patra (www.akshayapatra.org) and Agastya Foundation (www.agastya.org). Site visits are an important component of EA’s courses, as they give faculty students an opportunity to see local examples of the material covered in EA courses first hand. "It was on March 18, 2010 that we had visited the Agastya Foundation in Hubli.Some of the experiment we saw were interesting, many experiment where based on the visual and mind connection, they were very simple experiments but explaining much more than what it appears. We where lucky enough to try some of those and have an hand on experience on it."
